History the
coffee cream covers
This history arranges the
formation and development of the Coffee Covers until into
the collective scene of the present-day days since the
beginnings.
Like many of our up-to-date
inventions, also the Coffee Covers come from America. The
trend to Portionspackets following, originated in the little
pail portions deep-drawn 60er years, with Alu and system
foils welds and hermetically taciturn. On the basis of the

Hardly anyone knows today how the Coffee Covers were
created. These brilliant portionspackets are included a
product of quite primary needs. How also so many others, the
idea comes from America. First, was milk and cream there -
both in the late fifties badly conservable and only narrowly
durable. But a big demand for portionspackets, that had to
be equipped with a durability stamp in the consequence,
there was in the USA at that time. However, wide circles of
the population become heed illiterates and small print at
that time. Therefore, one got the idea instead of printing
data illustrations and subjects on the portionspackets. So
everyone knew, it also was up gross written in the
Shoppingcentern, if a subject shifted on the hole cream

Covers then were born in the principle, one needed to only

The Coffee Covers came to us in the middle of the sixties.

filled cream and coffee cream portions wisely in bottles
until now. Especially, that was continuously small becoming
households a concern the gastronomy and it. So, the company
BURRA was a pioneer business in Zurich in matters of
development of portionspackets for the Swiss milk economy,
for example. From this company, also the famous
"Blick-covers-Serie" from the year 1978 comes
incidentally.
With much inventor spirit, patience and relapses, went above
all with big capital use and high risk, however, one into
the attempt phase for the moment and had constructed a
corresponding bottling installation. The discovery of before
fabricated plastic cups for different food gave the team the
idea to fill also coffee cream in portions. One left
portions cup and produces matching Alu cover to it,
everything in the former triangle form.
The milk processors were crucial for the further development
of the Coffee Covers. Although the milk utilization is
organized strongly cartel-similarly in Switzerland until
today, is tried to increase the own market share through
Product-Management and package formation. With this
development, the Coffee Covers- Collectors were called on
the Tapet simultaneously of course; a development of quite
different type, whose exit is not foreseeable until today.
So, a small fan community, that looked after
"deck-Eli-collecting" and was called " Collectors " lovingly
under something comparable, originated at the beginning of
the seventies. The series coming again on the market were
registered via photocopies and were spread further. In these
years, the Distributionswege of the Coffee Covers were even
little known and one concentrated on those copies, which
were offered to Switzerland in the different geographical
regions, when collecting. With more or less luck for the
individual collectors went the approximately 15 year until
approximately 1985 so further. The "- collectors- community
